Merit Brewing Company (Hamilton, ON)

A can-conditioned sour made with Vidal skins and juice from Fielding Estates Winery. Flavours of citrus, white grape, lychee and melon, with a gentle essence of strawberry. This pear & strawberry sour saw extended aging on Vidal on skins resulting in a bright, fresh and fruity sour with balance. Merit got more present white grape from the Vidal than previous years of using Sauv Blanc and found the Vidal grape stands up to the acidity better!
