Badlands Brewing Company (Caledon, ON) X Third Moon Brewing (Milton, ON)

For Badland's version of this beer they used a modified DIPA malt base with a little higher proportion of oats. This beer was hopped entirely with the hops from the fine folks at Freestyle hops. Badland's used Mega Motueka in the whirlpool (which is composed of Phantasm and a selected lot of Motueka high in thiols) and then they dry hopped it with their less sexy hop varieties: Rakau, New Zealand Cascade and Motueka. These hops are absolutely A1 level delicious. You'll taste white grape, apricot, crushed lime and that trademark New Zealand dank Badland's love so much.
