Slake Brewing (Picton, ON)

This Czech-Style Pilsner is made with floor malted barley locally-sourced from Barn Owl Malt. Slake used a traditional decoction mash to get a more characterful malt flavour. A generous amount of Saaz hops were added to the kettle, which gives the beer an inviting aroma and a moderate bitterness. It spends 8 weeks cold-conditioning and is naturally carbonated.
