Barncat Artisan Ales (Cambridge, ON)

The origins of this beer date all the way back to 2018 to a Saison that went on to become Barncat's 5th anniversary and a Flanders red aged in barrels that once held a beer they called Barrel 5 & 6. They blended a small portion of the (very sour) Flanders Red with one barrel of (non sour) Saison. The result is a beer with complex depth of funk and a moderate level of sourness. It was the bottle conditioned for 3!!! years prior to release.
