Arabella Park aims to inspire and foster a passion for craft beer.  We’re dialled in on people, education  and facilitating memorable experiences through food, drink and conversation.  Our 18-tap draught selection includes a rotating roster of the very best regional beer and cider, supplemented by exciting beers from other provinces and countries.  Our kitchen has a strong and focused technique, combining both traditional and modern ideas to create shareable dishes that pair beautifully with beer.  Our trick is to have fun with it, creating innovative food with a playful approach.

  • Job Title: Full Time Line Cook

 

Job Overview: 

We're looking for an experienced full-time kitchen team member with a creative mindset and a love of food. The chosen candidate will be working evenings and have (or be willing to get) their Food Handlers Certificate. We offer a fast-paced, but relaxed environment, with a heavy focus on teaching and skill development.

 

Key Responsibilities:

     

  • Prepares a variety of proteins, vegetables and other food items for cooking
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary work station
  • Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes
  • Handles, stores and rotates all products properly
  • Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed
  • Closes the kitchen, following the closing checklist for kitchen stations
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the Head Chef
  • Complies with standards of the Ontario Health and Safety codes

 

Hourly wage is competitive with industry standard. We offer an above-average tip out with a well-earned meal + beer on the house after each shift.
