Counterpart Brewing (Niagara Falls, ON)

Imperial stout aged 28 months in a blend of Sagamore rye whiskey barrels and 13 year Sazerac bourbon barrels. This version underwent the same barrel treatment as the original, but was then left to mature in oak for an additional 8 months for a whopping 28 months in total. This is the most extended barrel aging Counterpart has ever done to date and the pinnacle of their barrel program
